Greg McCunn

CEO & Director

Mr. McCunn, a Professional Engineer, has more than 30 years of experience in the international mining sector and an established track record operationally. Mr. McCunn has worked within large mining organizations such as Placer Dome and Teck but has also led multiple junior mining companies from exploration success through the transition to project development, permitting, financing, construction and operations. As an executive, he has had a leadership role putting mines into production on three different continents.

In addition to Mr. McCunn’s strong operational and technical focus, his financial acumen and capital markets ability is proven, and as an executive he has raised over $600 million in equity and debt financing from US and Canadian capital markets. He has also completed over $ 1 billion in merger and acquisitions transactions and has been the Chief Executive Officer of several NYSE and TSX listed companies, including Alio Gold and Galiano Gold. Mr. McCunn holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and has had more than a decade of experience in the mining sector as a Chief Financial Officer.

Neil (Rex) Motton

COO

Rex Motton has over 30 years in the mining industry working as a professional geologist. He holds an Honours Degree in Applied Science majoring in Geology from the University of Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.

Rex has significant experience and success in exploration, mining and economic evaluation. Experience with several mining companies included Barrick Gold, Dominion Mining and Plutonic Resources. He was the key geologist for six economic deposits at Higginsville for Samantha Gold (later Resolute) in Western Australia. He obtained early development experience at the Darlot and Mt Fisher gold deposits for Sundowner Minerals NL acquired by Plutonic & in turn by Barrick Gold. In more recent years he has been a key consultant for a number of gold exploration & development projects as well as operating mines.

Jonathan Richards

CFO

Mr. Richards brings a decade of resource-focused accounting and finance experience. He has accumulated extensive experience with Toronto Stock Exchange and venture-listed companies throughout the world, including Australia. His professional experience has included officer and director positions on the TSX and TSXV; experience in various debt and equity financings; implementation of ERP systems to manage mining operations; managing domestic and international tax planning strategies; and implementation of corporate governance and internal control policies. Mr. Richards is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia as well as Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.

Ronald Gawi

Country Manager Papua New Guinea

Mr. Gawi, worked for over 20 years for the Papua New Guinea (PNG) Department of Minerals and Energy which later became the Mineral Resources Authority (MRA). During his tenure, Mr. Gawi provided leadership and guidance to a team of project coordinators overseeing seven operating mines. In this role, Mr. Gawi also acted as team leader for review and negotiation of Integrated Benefits Package Agreements in mining projects.

Following a successful career at the MRA, Mr. Gawi took on the role of Country Manager, PNG, for Highlands Pacific and held that role for a decade. In this role, Mr. Gawi developed vast experience in government relations and diplomatic relations with extensive dealings with consultants, aid donors, civil society groups, women’s groups and landowner associations in mining and exploration areas. Mr. Gawi is a former Director of the PNG Chamber of Resources and Energy (CORE) and is currently a member of the mining committee of CORE.

Mick Carew

VP Corporate Development

Mick Carew, is a seasoned geologist with over 25 years in the mining sector. Carew’s extensive experience spans major companies like BHP and Ivanhoe Mines, where he focused on uranium, base, and precious metal exploration across Australia, Canada, and Asia. With a strong background in both technical exploration and corporate management, Carew is poised to bring innovative strategies and significant value to his new leadership role. He holds a BSc (Hons) from Monash University and a PhD from James Cook University, Australia.

Bryan Slusarchuk

Capital Markets Advisor

Bryan Slusarchuk is co-founder of K92 Mining Inc., a company he was President and Director of from inception through to commercial production and cash flow positive operations. K92 has more than 1650 employees and contractors and is a fast-growing gold-copper producer. Slusarchuk has been involved in financing multiple exploration discoveries as well as various development and production situations. He is a former TEDx speaker on the topic of capital markets and recognizing the role of metals and mining in decarbonization and electrification, a speaker at the Carbon War Room. Slusarchuk works with multiple institutional investors structuring equity and debt transactions for compelling international opportunities in the natural resource sector.

John Lewins

Advisor

Mr. Lewins is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of K92 Mining Inc., a fast-growing gold producer with operations in Papua New Guinea. He is a Mineral Engineer with over 40 years’ experience in the mining industry and has previously worked in Africa, Australia, Asia, North America and the former Soviet Union. Mr. Lewins has successfully managed the development of a number of open pit and underground gold, precious and base metal mines from feasibility study through to profitable operations.

Mr. Lewins has operated extensively at the corporate level in various roles from Executive General Manager to Director and Chief Executive Officer with a number of other mining companies, including MIM Holdings, First Dynasty Mines, Platinum Australia and African Thunder Platinum.

Mr. Lewins received his National Diploma for Technicians (Extractive Metallurgy) from Technikon Witwatersrand, South Africa, a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) in Mineral Engineering from University of Leeds, England and a Graduate Diploma in Management from University of Queensland.

Douglas J. Kirwin

Doug Kirwin is an independent geologist with 50 years of international exploration experience. Doug has held senior positions with Anglo American and Amax during the 1970’s and was managing director of a successful international geological consulting firm during the 1980’s and early 1990’s.

In 1995 he accepted a role as Vice President, Exploration for Indochina Goldfields and subsequently became the Executive Vice President for Ivanhoe Mines Limited until 2012, after which Ivanhoe was acquired by Rio Tinto. Doug was also a director of South Gobi Energy, Jinshan Gold and a founding non-executive director of Ivanhoe Australia Ltd.

As a member of the joint discovery team for the Hugo Dummett deposit at Oyu Tolgoi in Mongolia, Doug was a co-recipient of the PDAC inaugural Thayer Lindsley medal awarded for the most significant international mineral.
