Kesar/Arau

Location/Access

Located in the Eastern Highlands province of Papua New Guinea, Kesar and Arau are contiguous with K92 Mining’s Kainantu/Kora Au mine 2.6 Moz @ 10.2 g/t AuEq (measured and indicted) and 4.7 Moz @ 8.6 g/t AuEq (Inferred) and located along strike and northwest of the Newcrest Mining/Harmony Mining Joint Venture Wafi-Golpu Cu-Au mine.

History/Stage of Exploration

Early- to mid-stage exploration: Previous work includes soil and rock-chip sampling at Kesar and Arau. Mt Victor saw limited, shallow drilling in the 1980’s.

  • Comprises two land packages situated NW (Kesar) and SE (Arau) of the Kainantu/Kora gold mine.
  • Kesar: Multiple epithermal-Au-Ag (Cu-Pb-Zn) veins are along strike of and have the same orientation as K92’s Kora Au veins. Potential for Au-Cu porphyry mineralization below and adjacent to the epithermal zones.
  • Arau: Potential for porphyry, skarn and epithermal-style mineralization including at Mt Victor where shallow drilling targeted and intersected skarn-type mineralization.
  • Recent channel sampling at Mt Victor (Arau) returned high-grade Au mineralization over 10’s of metres, including 38m @ 2.6 g/t gold and 12m @ 5.5 g/t gold.

Exploration Strategy

Soil sampling and RC drilling programs at Kesar and Arau respectfully have just been completed and results are pending. Results will be analysed, and a follow-up program delineated. Kesar will be the company’s focus for the remainder of 2024.

On Strike From K92s Kora Vein Set

  • Kesar is located 10kms from the successful K92 gold mine.
  • High Au (Cu, Ag) values from historical rock samples with anomalous Pb, Zn, Mo, Bi, W & Te.
